Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 3 packages Jiffy mix

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground sausage

  • 1 pound Kielbasa

  • Turkey legs, cook and keep broth

  • Green bell pepper

  • 3 stalks celery

  • 1 onion

  • 3 bunches scallions

  • 1 jalapeno

Instructions:

  1. Cook Jiffy mix with extra 1/4 cup sugar per box. Bake as directed on box and crumble in a bowl.

  2. Cook everything else until onions are translucent.

  3. Pour into crumbled cornbread and stir.

  4. Put into large pan and add stock.

  5. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350°F.

  6. When brown on top, it’s done.
