Homemade Pie Crust

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup butter flavored shortening

  • 4-6 tablespoons ice cold water

  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Cut all dry ingredients together with a pastry blender until crumbly.

  2. Add vinegar and 4 TBSP of the water. Stir and see if it comes together into a ball. If not, add the remaining water.

  3. Separate into 2 balls and roll out with a rolling pin.

  4. Use with any savory or sweet pie. (I recommend chicken pot pie.)
