Fluffy Biscuits
/Ingredients
3 cups flour
1 stick butter (1/2 cup) or shortening
1 TBSP sugar
1.5 tsp baking powder
1.5 tsp salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg
Directions
Cut first 5 ingredients together until crumbly.
Add buttermilk and egg and stir. Add 1/4 cup water if needed.
Fold out into a rectangle and cut into biscuit shapes.
Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes.
