Fluffy Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour

  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup) or shortening

  • 1 TBSP sugar

  • 1.5 tsp baking powder

  • 1.5 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Cut first 5 ingredients together until crumbly.

  2. Add buttermilk and egg and stir. Add 1/4 cup water if needed.

  3. Fold out into a rectangle and cut into biscuit shapes.

  4. Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes.
