Red Beans and Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 ham hock

  • 1 pound soaked kidney beans

  • 2 diced onions

  • 4-5 diced stalks of celery

  • 3 bay leaves

  • 10-12 cups of water

  • 4-5 cubes of chicken bullion

  • 1 tsp Tony’s

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients in a large soup pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 3-4 hours.

  2. Serve with hot sauce and over rice!
