Beef Stew
/Ingredients
1-2 pounds stew meat
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
beef stock
bay leaves
5 chopped potatoes
4 sliced carrots
1 onion
2 stalks celery
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 TBSP ketchup
1 TBSP A-1
1 TBSP Worcestershire
1-2 stalk of rosemary
Directions
Mix flour, salt, garlic powder, and pepper in a shallow dish and coat the beef pieces.
Brown the meat in bacon fat or oil until brown and add 4 cups of beef stock, bay leaves, and another 1/2 tsp. pepper.
Simmer for 1 hour.
Add all other ingredients and simmer another hour.
Taste for seasonings and enjoy!
